Baby Stores are a special brand of torture. They are poorly organized (I say that with a Master's in the subject), crowded, have crappy music that plays too loud, are generally overpriced on the "convenience" items (like cards, batteries, wrapping paper, etc.), and are congregation centers for moody, hormonal, pregnant ladies who all need to smile at you and ask how many kids you have and oh-you-don't-have-any?-when-are-you-going-to-have-one-motherhood-is-the-best-thing-in-the-world!
DoHP--shop online. That's how us introverts handle such things. :)
