Katie

Munckin was kind enough to be a model for my latest hat.
So I am thinking about giving my hats names, for the purpose of inventory; or does that just sound crazy?

Not crazy, but I had a similar reaction to Fuzzy's. When the title of this post popped up on the blog feed on my iGoogle page, I thought I was going to be reading about someone's younger sister. (Not a bad name at all, and a good idea for inventory.)

Actually, it may work for you to use common names. People may be inclined to buy a hat bearing their name or that of a loved one (similarly, they might avoid hats of names they have a negative connotation with). Therefore, the more common the name the wider the audience?? I once became attached to a designer lunchbox I found on Amazon bearing my namesake.

I was thinking about doing time period names. It would give them a lot more personality.
